4. John Nord

Talking about Darsow, we now go to his old high school colleague and future WCW tag partner John Nord.

Nord grew a horseshoe mustache and bleach blond hair and mostly competed on WCW’s lesser shows. Here, he had a winning streak eventually ended by Goldberg amidst his own streak. Nord’s only PPV match was the 60-man battle royal at World War 3 1997.

If you’re still wondering who John Nord is (and I don’t blame you) he may be best known as The Berzerker in the WWF and The Barbarian in the AWA (unrelated to the WWF wrestler of the same name). An entertaining and harmlessly fun member of the early ‘90s mid-card, he did seem to have untapped potential that WCW did not expose to its greatest powers during the Monday Night Wars.
