When it comes to big men and their impact in wrestling, there may be no more influential than Big Show and André The Giant. Both WrestleMania main eventers, this titanic clash between the 7-footers has grown to become one of the more famous dream matches.

When initially debuting in WCW as The Giant, Paul Wight has billed as being André’s son – still quite a moot topic considering the French gargantuan passed away just 2 years before, meaning their wrestling careers missed each other by just a few years. This storyline relationship was short-lived but was notable for being Show’s biggest asset when he debuted in 1995 – otherwise still a green athlete when picking up the WCW World title in his first match.

The duo have similarities that are evident in their work, such as both having scary agility in their earlier days, both hitting staggering top rope moves that seem unbelievable for their size. Both also slowed down in their later years with their in-ring days becoming more infrequent, becoming more like attraction wrestlers than active wrestlers.
