03. Shawn Michaels Vs. The Rock

The Rock & Shawn Michaels are the two top guys of Attitude Era. But we never saw these men crossed path with each other. Both are great sellers in the ring and their mic skills are top notch. The Rock is honestly unmatchable when it comes to cut a promo and Michaels is an all time great in the ring.

Michaels got injured in 1998 and took a hiatus for 4 years, during this time The Rock became one of the all time great. Backstage rumors are there that Rock never liked Michaels because Michaels wanted to bury The Rock when he was at the top of his game.

We saw both men aligned with each other in the Corporation faction and Michaels even cost The Rock his IC title when he Superkicked The Rock in a match with Triple H for the title and Michaels was the special guest referee. But, that storyline never took the elevation and it ended abruplty.

Michaels returned at SummerSlam 2002 and wrestled his first match after 4 years, on the other side The Rock wrestled his last match at the same event against Brock Lesnar as a full time wrestler and lost his title. Unfortunately, we never get to see both of this charismatic stars had a match?
