1. Black retired Cody??

Now, lets talk about the match of the night, which everyone is talking about after the show. Honestly, this is what happens when you give creative freedom to one of the most creative guys in pro wrestling right now. Malakai Black is just pure gold at the moment on Dynamite. WWE should learn a lesson from this that how should they book him in the main roster, not like released him out of nowhere.

WHAT A DEBUT!!!

This match was booked as a Good Vs. Evil as Black being the evil guy and Cody as the good guy. But, when Black’s new entrance music hits and then it was just awesome. His entrance, his theme music, his attire and all was just amazing. Black literally squashed Cody within 5 minutes and pinned him in the most arrogant way you’ve ever seen. He just put his feet on Cody’s chest and it’s done.

But, what happened after the match was surprising. Cody cuts an emotional promo about AEW being the underdog and all and now they became the ‘COMPETITION’. He removes his boots like he is ready to hang up his boots and retires from pro wrestling, but Black attacked him with a crutch and leaves Cody behind in the middle of the ring.
