This past Saturday Impact Wrestling held their monthly special on Impact Plus and Youtube Insiders called Turning Point. This was a very hot event going into it with so many stories from Bound For Glory being carried over as well as having a lot of fresh match up’s on the event.

The event had a fantastic Digital Media title match which is something that Impact are still finding their feet with. It was also a very hyped up show with it being live also. This gave so much more intrigue to the event (so much so that it almost felt like one of their PPV’s).

With a stacked card of 11 matches, there was so much to look over coming out of this event. Let’s have a look at a few talking points that we can take away from what we saw at Turning Point. It may well be an apt name in Turning Point with some things changing going forward?

One thing that many Impact fans have said for a while now is that Impact’s tag team division is not in the strongest position. We have a good number of tag teams in Impact Wrestling, however the way we’ve seen this year pan out, you have to wonder if it was really worth going through it this year when it comes to the tag team front?

At Turning Point we saw The Good Brothers retain their Impact Tag Team Titles against The Bullet club. Impact have had 2 chances to strike with The Bullet Club now and both times they have come up empty, on the flip side we saw FinJuice prevail in their match against Rohit Raju and Raj Singh on Countdown to Turning Point.

With these results you have to feel that FinJuice are next in line to once again challenge The Good Brothers, while there is history between these teams, it’s history we’ve seen before. At Sacrifice earlier this year we had this feud once, now it looks like they’re setting it up again. The Good Brothers have not had much of a run without the titles and we could really do with a freshen up in the title frame like Ace and Falton or VBD and Decay again? Just something a bit new to keep it going stale and give us a Turning Point.
