3. Ultimate Knockouts
For 14 years now the Knockouts have been a true staple of Impact Wrestling. The company has always known the importance of woman’s wrestling, but have also always known how to showcase it to it’s truest abilities. Very recently we have seen the rebirth of the Knockouts Tag Team Titles as well as the debut of the Digital Media Championship (which is an intergender title).
Impact through this year have spent a lot of their time revitalising the Knockouts division and making it feel more stacked. The division now looks really dominating from top to bottom and no matter which Knockouts title you go for, it feels like there’ll be many challengers now.
At Turning Point Scott D’Amore announced that “Impact have always been known for being the first to come up with ideas” as well as “always being great at showcasing the knockouts.” With that he would announced that at Hard To Kill on January 8th, we would see the first ever Knockouts Ultimate X to crown the next number 1 contender to the Knockouts Title. This will be an amazing feat to see and for the Knockouts, to be involved in this historic (Impact) match, it says a lot for the Knockouts themselves and what Impact think of them.
