With all the rumors circulating about what is going on in NXT, there were a lot of questions that looked to be answered with last night’s show.  The releases of NXT talent that took place on Friday night started a domino effect that left most people thinking that the current NXT that we all know and love was going to be dead, with major changes coming.  No more vanilla midgets.  No more than 30.  No more Triple H and Shawn.  One is left to think that they are starting the whole brand over from scratch, and we all are very curious as to what that looks like.

But are any of those rumors even true?  Last night’s episode was a really strong one, as it did a great job at moving things forward towards the upcoming Takeover as well as setting up what looks to be another great show next week.  If those rumors are true, they are not having any immediate impact.  So that leaves the next question, will this all start after Takeover 36

That one, we will have to wait and see.  But what we do know is that as of last night, things are moving forward as planned.  We got a fantastic impromptu main event between Pete Dunne and Ilja Dragunov. The LA Knight/Cameron Grimes/Million Dollar Man saga seems to be coming to end with their match being made for Takeover.   Adam Cole and Kyle O’Reilly had a face-to-face that allowed Mr. Bay Bay to prove once again why he is the best on the brand and a killer video package to hype up the Kross v Samoa Joe match.  So with all that happening, let’s move on to the biggest takeaways from last night’s show moving forward.
