4. 3 Degrees Of Pain
Speaking of Lockdown and cage matches another match which is worth making a return and one that some may not even be aware of is a match known as 3 degrees of pain. It was introduced by Desmond Wolfe in his amazing feud against Kurt angle as a way to end the feud at Final Resolution 2009. The match itself is divided into 3 sections (hence the name 3 degrees of pain), the first section must be one by pinfall, second must be one by Submission and third if required is to escape the cage.
It was then reintroduced when Angle was feuding with Jeff Jarrett (again to end the feud) in 2011, This time taking place at Lockdown. Both matches were very impressive to watch and surprising to this day only two have ever been done. Given the diversity of all the wrestlers (and knockouts) we have on the roster it’s definitely something that could be brought back after being given a decade long break.
