4. Matt Cardona
To be honest for me Matt Cardona has had a bit of an up and down run in Impact Wrestling. I feel there is a something really good in Matt Cardona and in the right place he can be a really good asset, however in the wrong place he can become a little stale as I feel we’ve seen that too.
At Slammiversary we really saw him bring his charisma out more and he has an ability that could definitely fit into the X Division really well. It would add more to the X Division also with someone like Cardona saying “I’m here to win championships” and he goes for the X Title.
This could add Intrigue to him also as we’ve seen with previous champions, the direction some of them go after winning the belts can be very interesting, not to mention the match we could get with him and Josh would be very good.
