5 Possible feuds for Johnny Gargano after his return to WWE

JOHNNY WRESTLING IS BACK!!!!! JOHNNY WRESTLING IS BACK!!!!! JOHNNY WRESTLING IS BACK!!!!!! I legit got goosebumps when he came out on the ramp on Raw tonight. Triple H is making moves and WWE is going to be so so good going forward because of it. Johnny Gargano is one of the most talented and skilled wrestlers on this planet and this is a huge get for WWE. There were rumors that AEW had interest but Gargano ultimately came back home to WWE with Triple H in charge. I don’t think that would have been the case if Vince was still in charge. But nonetheless, I am going to give you all my top 5 feuds for Johnny Wrestling in WWE as I try to calm down.
5. Seth Freakin Rollins
The wrestling matches would be absolute classics and I MEAN CLASSICS. These are two of the best wrestlers in the world today and given the proper story would be amazing to watch. You could even throw Rollins wife Becky Lynch and Gargano’s wife Candice LaRae in this feud if need be. Candice is one of the better women’s wrestlers on the planet and I hope this means she’s coming to WWE as well. This would be a dream feud for me as I think Seth is the best wrestler in the world currently but I’d love to see Gargano test himself against one of the best.
4. Edge
The veteran on his way out puts over the new talent on the main roster. Classic booking here. Edge has nothing to lose as far as stature and him putting over Gargano in a feud would hurt him none. But can you imagine the quality of these matches. These are two of the best and even though Edge is getting older look at the quality of work he’s done with Seth, Balor and even Priest tonight on Raw. This would be a great feud to get Gargano over more and get him to move up the food chain in the WWE to the main event where I feel he belongs and I hope he reaches it.
3. Kevin Owens
Hey your Triple H’s boy from NXT? Well, I’m Kevin Owens, I was the first chosen one by HHH and this is my show and I’m gonna kick your ass. Boom feud began. Story is there and can be built on from that. Matches would bang, promos would be insane and the NXT ties between the two even though they never have feuded makes this intriguing. Also, could you imagine Sami Zayn/KO vs DIY? Would anyone out there like to see that? Yeah, me too. Two of the best performers we have on the planet who haven’t crossed paths in WWE yet makes for a perfect feud. It’s one me and you and you and you all want to see. If you don’t your lying to yourself.
2. Theory
You saw it tonight on Raw and it made complete sense. Theory was in Gargano’s group “The Way” in NXT and Gargano mentored Theory as Theory mentioned on Raw. This feud has roots and could be a long term feud. Theory is now a cocky asshole and Gargano is the lovable babyface and with the story already in place this makes for a perfect feud. I don’t know what else you want me to add to this. It just makes perfect sense.
1. Ciampa
Obvious right? I mean if the Theory feud was obvious so is this one. DIY, one of the best tag teams to ever go through NXT. Gargano vs Ciampa one of the biggest and best rivalries in NXT. What more can you ask for? I’d book it like this. Gargano convinces Ciampa to leave Miz which leads to a Gargano and Miz brief feud then get DIY in the tag division and utilize them like that for a while then have one of them turn then boom. This is the classic best friend vs best friend feud reminiscent of HBK vs HHH back in the day. Funny who’s doing the booking right? This feud no matter how it gets there will be great and IT WILL HAPPEN. It’s not a matter of if but when.
