3. Steve Maclin
Steve Maclin has been running through the roster since coming into Impact in June, he flat out says if you line them up then I’ll knock em’ down. Maclin’s wrestling style is very stiff and solid (in a good way) and his character is very reminiscent of The Punisher, you see as the match goes on (and especially the more offence the opponent gets in) you see that switch just flick and he goes into another level.
Impact have been having Maclin run through X Division talent and have even had him state that he’s after the X Division title. With Josh Alexander relinquishing the title there is a very good chance we could see Maclin as the next in line, however there is also a chance this may not happen (and even if it does) so there could be a very dangerous new direction.
If Maclin was to fail to gain the X Division title, there’s an option we can see VBD emerge and say “you have everything, but you’re missing that final piece, so are we.” Pulling these two dangerous forces together could be an immovable object.
