2. Mercedes Martinez
Since being let go from WWE earlier this year, it was always very possible that Impact Wrestling could land on a gem. Mercedes Martinez is an all round fantastic worker and performer who knows how to put on a great match and work the crowd to death (in a good way).
Martinez has already been announced for the upcoming Knockout Knockdown show taking place on October 9th This will be Martinez’ debut into the company and there’s bound to be some people happy to see this face in an Impact wrestling ring, she’ll be a great addition to the Knockouts roster.
Talking about great additions, there have been many people who have wanted to see a Knockout in VBD for some time now, however none just seemed to fit. Martinez however has everything you want to fit into VBD with what they look for in ring style and character. Added to that she doesn’t work as a heel very often, the baptism of change will be perfect here to give her something fresh in general.
