1. Larry D

Larry came into Impact Wrestling (full time) in December 2019 at No Surrender where he was offered a contract after an incredible hard fort effort against Michael Elgin. He was instantly placed into a tag team with another new signed talent Acey Romero where they became XXXL. As a team XXXL sadly never managed to get any momentum and always just seemed to be floundering at the bottom of the tag team card.

Over time both members in XXXL started to develop more in the character aspect (being in wrestle house definitely helped) and we started to see both men transform there look too. This sadly still didn’t change much for the team themselves despite both men doing everything they could to improve themselves, then the news broke that Acey had asked for his release (nothing is confirmed as of yet XXXL are still on the roster together).

If we do see Acey leave, Larry is someone who could definitely benefit from the holy waters of change that VBD offer. Adding the “Best Hand In The House” to an already dangerous faction could be something very frightening and when you look at Larry, he’s not too dissimilar from Rhino when it comes to stature and build. Larry is a talent who could definitely benefit being surrounded by EY, Deaner and Doering. There are 3 experienced minds there he can learn from.

  1. Larry D is the must have choice for me. Recent posts on Twitter have almost been like reminders to Scott D’Amore & Impact to “not give up on me” & his transition to Violent By Design is just as justifiable as Deaner’s was.
