Jon Moxley Returning
Jon Moxley has been off TV in the recent weeks, written off by The Elite. This allowed Mox to spend a few weeks off to stay at home with his wife Renee Paquette after she gave birth to the couple’s first daughter.
After Moxley revealed a new look earlier this week, showing his shaved head to the world in a rather drastic altering to his appearance. It was announced this week that Moxley would return next week in order to defend his IWGP United States title on Dynamite against The Elite member ‘Machine Gun’ Karl Anderson.
Moxley last defended his IWGP US belt in AEW when retaining against legendary Japanese star Yuji Nagata. This showed signs between NJPW and AEW, with a partnership suggested between the two. Karl recently had his first solo AEW match on an episode of Dark Elevation.
This match will be significant as it links a 3-way partnership as an AEW wrestler takes on an Impact wrestler for a New Japan title belt.
