Coffin Match Moved Show

It was announced by ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page last week that he wanted to face the dark, mysterious, grungy Darby Allin in a Coffin Match on a future episode of AEW Dynamite. However, it was subtly announced this week that this will not take place on next week’s Road Rager event but at upcoming PPV All Out.

The reason for the sudden change is purely speculated but seems to be a logical and understandable one. With new week’s Dynamite taking place in Miami, Florida, it is thought that is has been moved in order to avoid any bad taste or controversy as the event may insensitively linked to the tragic events in the past week in the city.

On June 24th, the Champlain Towers South Condo building collapsed. With the sudden collapse of the apartment, the tragedy has taken the world news by storm, with president Joe Biden attending the site of the tragedy on the night after this week’s edition of Dynamite. The unexpected destruction of the large condominium complex in Surfside near the Atlantic Ocean in Miami has caused the untimely death of at least 18 people with an estimated amount well over 100 people who are yet to be found, likely dead beneath the rubble.

With this catastrophe, it is wise and befitting that a match involving a coffin (an implement for placing the perished inside) is not in the location of the tragedy. Proving they are not tone-deaf; they have rescheduled the match for the All Out PPV.
