Ricky Starks To Return To In-Ring Action
A few months back, it was announced that a neck injury meant the former NWA Television champion ‘Absolute’ Ricky Starks would spent time away from the ring. Although he has made appearances over the past few weeks to further tease descension between Team Taz.
This week, the leader and former 2-time ECW World Heavyweight Taz announced that next week, Brian Cage – who has recently been despondent without the group – will face a returning Ricky for the FTW title. Gifted to him by the ex-Tasmanic, Cage will have held the belt for a year on the 2nd of July. Defending it sparsely, this could perhaps finally see AEW pulling the trigger on a Cage solo run if he leaves Team Taz. Maybe even Starks could leave, with the loser of this bout perhaps being ditched due to the heated disputes.
