Page vs Omega Seeds Planted on TV
On a recent episode of Being The Elite, it was teased that ‘Hangman’ Adam Page would go for the AEW World title. This was played upon for the first time on TV on Dynamite as The Dark Order interrupted a Kenny Omega promo to say there was still one star he was yet to top. Omega said that if they were thinking of the same person as him, he may not want them to speak on his behalf before Kenny dismissed the faction and left. The person the group are referencing is Page, who appeared later in a backstage segment – resentful over The Dark Order’s challenge to Omega on his behalf.
Page and Omega were teammates in both The Elite and in their duo tag team in early-late 2020, they have had little interaction since their mutual break-up, wrestling at Full Gear 2020 in a great match but have done little else. Page has little faith in himself as a man who is a heavy alcoholic-drinker and has little confidence in himself.
Page seems the only right person to eventually topple Omega and it seems the feud may be starting now with outside players such as The Elite and The Dark Order involved.
