Cody vs QT’s Feud Is Omnipresent

It is probably not too bold to say AEW IS Cody Rhodes. His creation, he does truly feel like the face of the company even if he will never be a world champion.

For many months, QT Marshall was shown to be defiant against The Nightmare Family – dating the unpopular Allie and eliminating himself from Revolution’s tag team battle royal. All this animosity exploded on the 25th of March Dynamite episode where QT decked Arn Anderson. Furthermore, Aaron Solow, Nick Comoroto and Anthony Ogogo helped beat down Cody and Dustin in a brutal fashion. At Blood and Guts, Marshall lost to ‘The American Nightmare’ by tapping out to a Figure-Four Leglock. The member of QT’s Factory presented most heavily was ex-English Olympic boxer Anthony Ogogo.

The UK vs USA bout took place at Double Or Nothing with Cody winning in a long match. Regarded as the worst of the show, the ending was criticised with fans believing Rhodes had won to the detriment of the newer, cooler heel Ogogo.

In a tag bout on this week’s Dynamite, Cody teamed with pupil Lee Johnson against The Factory’s Ogogo and Marshall. The ending saw Solow cause a distraction for Ogogo to hit a massive shot to Cody and QT to pin. Ogogo had technically put down Cody doing all the work whilst the devious heel Marshall took all the credit for it by getting the pin. An undecisive win due to its unclean nature, this tells us the issues behind sides are unresolved – with more to definitely come between Rhodes and Ogogo and Marshall.
