2. An over hall on the roster
Impact for some time now have had a lot of new incomings to the company. While not all of these new talents are officially signed (some are still on a pay per appearance deal), they are still talents who are taking spots on the roster and in a way, feeling like they are freshening the product up.
With Impact brining a lot of new talent in, this does create a possible question. Is the roster starting to feel bloated or will the incomings create some outgoings? While we’ve still not fully got our answer, we have already seen a few Impact talents removed from the Impact Wrestling roster. Although it is a great shame to see wrestlers who you’ve connected with leave a company that you love, sometimes you have to look at the situation and say, “maybe a change was for the best?”
Impact over the last 6 months have been bringing in so many names and so far we’ve only seen a few names released, it’s very possible that there could be more on the way? over the last few it’s felt like Impact has been going in a completely new direction and some names who may have been in the original plans, sadly may no longer fit (there are about 6 names I can think of on the current roster).
Throughout 2022 we could very well see many more wrestlers that we thought the sky was the limit for get released, It can be tricky to let go of wrestlers who you love but sometimes it’s what’s best, plus sometimes they may make a return to the company looking even stronger with the ingredient they were missing previously? While this of course is not a certainty and we never wish anyone to lose their job/opportunity, given what we’ve seen with recent releases and strange booking from Impact Wrestling, it’s very possible that come Bound For Glory we could have a very different looking roster.
