5 Turning points we might see in IMPACT Wrestling
- Who Could The Mystery “TNA Originals” Be At Slammiversary? - June 9, 2022
- Did IMPACT Set Up Slammiversary With Under Siege? - May 12, 2022
- Could IMPACT’s Rebellion Bring Many New Champions? - April 22, 2022
2. Regrowth Of VBD
Impact Wrestling have had one of the most intimidating and what could be the most dangerous factions that’s been created in the recent history of the company. Violent By Design have all the credentials to be that top heel faction of the company who could hold all the titles and have the roster standing at their feet.
There was a period around the spring where VBD where incredibly hot and were running rough shot through everything that stood in their way. Since losing the Impact Tag Team Titles at Slammiversary however, VBD have been going through a slight slump. They have had Rhino depart the group and rejoin with Heath, however even during this story they were still taking a fair too many losses in order for them to feel like they were a threat.
Come Turning Point we will have seen Violent By Design be on Impact for 1 year (as it was Turning Point 2021 EY debuted Joe Doering). With the return of Eric Young to action on this past Impact, you have to wonder if this could be the first step of VBD rising again? We may see another member (or 2) added and with Eric Young back in action now, there’s a lot more doors that can be opened to VBD now. 2022 could be a year of dominance and it it will all be “By Design.”
