1. A Solid Main Event Scene
For quite a while Impact Wrestling have struggled to have a main event scene that feels like it’s what it used to looked like for many years in the past. That’s nothing to do with the quality of not having “big names”, everyone has to start somewhere and you can’t be a big name unless you grow to become one. However Impact recently haven’t managed to have a main event picture that looked like anyone could step into the main event scene and look credible.
After what we saw at Bound For Glory there looks to have been a refresh in the main event title scene, It looks like many new names have entered towards the top of the card (as well as some established names). With Josh Alexander and Moose you have your 2 big names in the company going forward, you also have Morrissey and Ace Austin on the rise (2 top heels), plus names like Eddie Edwards and Chris Sabin will always be top baby faces and around the top of the card.
When you look at the balance that Impact seem to be creating they finally seem to have a nice blend of faces and heels. There also seems to be a nice balance of youth and fresh talent to experienced talent. Going into 2022 Impacts main event scene is looking the most exciting that it’s looked for a long while (and that’s not including anyone they my bring in from any other company). Impact have always been able to build stars and this is definitely proving it.
