They brought back CM Punk after seven long years to the squared circle alongside with one of the biggest stars from WWE Bryan Danielson. HOOK made his on-screen debut as a member of Team Taz alongside with Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, Brian Cage & his real-life father Taz. During the pandemic era AEW held their shows at Daily’s Place and before the show goes live HOOK had his training matches with Brock Anderson & Cody Rhodes which were judged by pro-wrestling Legends like Arn Anderson, Dustin Rhodes, Tully Blanchard & Jake Roberts.
