WWE Friday Night Smackdown Results – 18th June 2021

Rey Mysterio kicks off the show and he calls out Roman Reigns. Reigns came out with Paul Heyman and asks Rey that is he ready for the HIAC match. Rey says that he’s ready to fight Reigns tonight. Reigns tells that now he really needs to do this by his way and walks away.

Backstage, Big E & Kevin Owens cuts a promo about their match against Commander Azeez.

Big E & Kevin Owens Vs. Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez

Sami Zayn came out and joins the commentary team for this match. Both the teams goes back and forth and the heels quickly takes control over the babyfaces. Azeez is untouchable and he just wreaks havoc on both E & Owens. Azeez pushes Owens onto the ring post and Owens hits his face first on the post.

Zayn was laughing at Owens and trying to sneak up on him but Owens saw him and Zayn goes back. Owens enters the ring before the 10 count and Azeez hits the Nigerian Nail on Owens and covers him for the victory.

Winner: Apollo Crews & Commander Azeez.

After the match, Azeez hits Owens with Nigerian Nail again and Zayn was seen laughing backstage and tells Kayla that this is Karmic justice.
