5 Turning points we might see in IMPACT Wrestling
- Who Could The Mystery “TNA Originals” Be At Slammiversary? - June 9, 2022
- Did IMPACT Set Up Slammiversary With Under Siege? - May 12, 2022
- Could IMPACT’s Rebellion Bring Many New Champions? - April 22, 2022
With Impact Wrestling having a pretty solid year throughout 2021, including things like trying to build relationships with other promotions up. They are definitely going into 2022 with a few more ducks in a row now and with a little bit more direction now too you feel.
Impact recently held their annual event Bound For Glory this past month which really felt in many ways like a culmination of many stories that had been playing out through this year. When you came away from Bound For Glory you could begin to see that Impact have started to refresh a lot of things when it comes to their stories and their championship pictures.
With Turning Point looming on the horizon on November 20th, you have to wonder if this is the perfect name for Impact’s next Impact plus event? With Impact having hit a reset and then announcing Turning Point, one has to wonder what those next Turning Points could be given what we’re seeing on our screens right now?
5. The Learning Tree Blooms
After Slammiversary we began to see a partnership between Brian Myers and Sam Beale, this would ultimately lead to some of the most entertaining moments of the show called “How To Become A Professional.” This role was perfect for Sam Beale as he is a talent who has a lot of ability yet just needed some of the edges smoothed out. Since being under the Learning Tree of Brian Myers we have definitely seen that.
We have also seen Zicky Dice, Manny Lemons (who has since been cut) and VSK become a part of The Learning Tree. The later of which was trained by Myers and came out of his school of wrestling. This is also a nice touch as it gives many options to who could enter The Learning Tree when you look at all the wrestlers that Myers has Trained.
When you look at what we’ve seen on Impact as it stands, the growth of Sam Beale with where he was when he came in to where he is now shows leaps and bounds. We have now seen Beale break out from The Learning Tree and this could really propel him. This whole idea is a great way for wrestlers to help develop their skills and then break out be it away from The Learning Tree or sticking with Myers in some way like it looks like we’ll see from VSK? Either way this is something that holds a lot of promise in 2022 in many different ways.
