Impact Wrestling this Saturday are holding their monthly, Impact Plus event Turning point. Not only could it be a very appropriate named show, but for the first time in nearly 2 years it will be held live.
Impact Plus events ever since the pandemic have been taped, this will be the first of hopefully many that are to come in a live format. It gives more intrigue as to what may happen and for Impact fans, it creates a lot more buzz around the product too.
With a lot of talent recently becoming free agents, this feels like another event that could very well be one to watch. Bound For Glory had that feel as a PPV and for Turning point to have the same feel as an Impact Plus event, that’s quite impressive. Let’s have a look at who could show up on November 20th at Turning Point?
5. Speedball Mike Bailey
Impact Wrestling recently signed Speedball Mike Bailey. He is a promising young talent who is a real throwback to stars like Low Ki, Jerry Lynn and Elix Skipper. He has a very hard hitting style, yet he’ll very often have moments where you’ll say “how did he do that?”
Recently on Before the Impact, George Iceman stated on Iceman’s Intel that we could see Mike Bailey sooner than we think. This could mean that his debut is close and with a live event coming up, this could be a very interesting time to bring forth.
We may only see him in a backstage segment possibly, however even this is sometimes enough to set up a feud. Rohit has recently been very good and interrupting people’s interviews and man I’d love to see those 2 face off. The X Division match is another place where most people would automatically place him, however sometimes it’s good to know the character first. Either way, Hopefully we see something from Mike Bailey come Turning Point.
