Roman Reigns is set to defend his Universal Title against Brock Lesnar at WWE Day 1. There were several rumors that Reigns might face his cousin The Rock at Wrestlemania but we might not see that at this year’s Wrestlemania as Reigns Vs. Lesnar III will happen at Mania with the involvement of Paul Heyman. Then, what’s next for Reigns after Mania?

While speaking on Smack Talk with Dutch Mantell and SPIII, Bill Apter discussed Roman Reigns’ next opponents. He believes Seth Rollins could be his next opponent.

“First of all, Paul Heyman said he will not be going to NXT to find somebody, but maybe he will, and maybe they are going to bring a wrestler up that they believe in and have a proper feud with Reigns. The other thing is, there is a lost of history between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins. While Rollins is a ‘semi-final guy,’ you still have that Shield friendship that could turn into a very strong rivalry once again if they do a historical thing.”

Rollins could be the perfect opponent for Reigns as they have a lot of history together, but Wrestlebuddy thinks that WWE should put Drew McIntyre in the mix and hold a Triple Threat showdown at Mania, because McIntyre’s moment of becoming a champion in front of the live audience is still due.
