Our Journey
It all started when I, Alexander, hit rock bottom in the pandemic, and then one day, I decided to follow my passion which is pro wrestling. I made a website and started writing articles about the pro wrestling world. However, back then, I didn’t know that I would meet a person during my rough phase who would show me a path to make this a brand and make me the invisible hand of Wrestlebuddy.
I met several people while I searched for new team members, and then finally, I found the first guy and then the second, and then many others. Some of them left us in between, but everything happens for a reason, as we all said. After we lost a few of our team members, the remaining of us realized that we had become a family more than being team members with time.
One year has passed, and now we are more than a dozen and still growing. I’m writing this to give a hearty congratulations to my entire team and tell our fans and listeners about us.
4 Pillars of Wrestlebuddy
Today I’ll tell you about the four pillars of Wrestlebuddy, who made this a brand and created awareness about our brand. WB would be just another random page like so many pro wrestling pages without them.
1. Andy
What do I say about this guy!! He’s just amazing and just like a brother to me. We met very unconventionally, but we never thought we would have such a tremendous unbreakable bond. Andy is THE GUY of our team, and his skills are best when it comes to taking interviews with wrestlers and hosting a podcast. He is the one who helped me find another pillar for Wrestlebuddy. This guy is just the best, and he’s always there for each and every member of our team. SIMPLY FANTASTIC!!!
2. Jimmy (aka THE DRIP KING)
Jimmy is THE DRIP KING of Wrestlebuddy. He is the one who helped me create this brand in a unique way. His ideas and theories are just pure gold, like him. He is the best when it comes to discussion and hosting. He invented his alter-ego, The drip king for WB, and he is everyone’s brother in our team and, like Andy, always there for everyone. Just one special mention for the Drip King ‘Conspiracy against him in Quiz buddies always’.
3. Matty
Matty is the heart and soul of Wrestlebuddy. One of the first members of our team and the one who invented a fantastic quiz show and helped me find one of the pillars of our team. His hosting skills are top-notch, and his screen presence is just amazing like him. He has a heart of gold, and he is one of a kind.
4. Dale
Dale is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met in my life, and he became a very good friend of mine in a very short period. He proved his value by making our brand bigger and better with his videos and articles. When it comes to giving a voiceover, no one can match the quality content that he produces. His ideas are always out of the box and classy—another one-of-a-kind guy.
The Family
These are the four pillars of WB. Now let’s know about our other teammates.
Simon: A guy with excellent knowledge of wrestling but a bit shy when it comes to speaking. But if you give him a chance, he will definitely blow the roof off.
Nick: One of my favorite teammates, The Tony Schivone of Wrestlebuddy. This guy has immense knowledge of pro wrestling, and his pod skills are top-notch.
Zain: Everyone calls him ‘A Little S**,’ but he is the soul of our podcast team. This guy is excellent and has much better knowledge of pro wrestling than many at a very young age. He has become like a young brother to all of us.
Joe & Steve: Now, all will say, why mention two guys together? It is because they’re always together and they are IMPACTED. These guys eat, sleep and breathe IMPACT Wrestling, and they helped us create quality content for IMPACT Wrestling especially. Both the guys are amazing and very good friends.
Bam: She is a wonderful friend who has immense knowledge when it comes to Women’s Wrestling. She’s the only one who has this much knowledge of women’s wrestling in our entire team. Her articles are always top-level, and she has become the backbone of our website as well.
Dan: A guy from SweetChin Wag who is sweet like sugar to everyone. Again excellent knowledge of pro wrestling and hosting skills. When it comes to voiceovers, he is one of the best on our team. He is also the undisputed king of quiz buddies because of his tremendous wrestling knowledge.
Brandon: Our newest member of Wrestlebuddy, who has a unique take on everything. Very nice guy and became a friend of everyone in a very short span of time. Another guy with outstanding hosting skills in our team.
Cami: The person who showed me this path and helped me create this brand since the beginning, She’s the one behind our branding and amazing creatives. She’s the best and my soulmate as well.
So, this is our team, guys. If I didn’t mention anyone’s name or if I missed something, forgive me for that. After a few hiccups in the past few weeks, our team will be back with a BANG starting this month. And if anyone is thinking, what about me, ‘The Invisible Hand.’ I’ll just leave what they think about me to my teammates because they’ll be the best ones to describe me, not myself.
Once again, CONGRATULATIONS to all of you for one year of Wrestlebuddy.
