We have learned that based on numerous reports that Triple H is likely to resurrect the black & gold brand generation of WWE NXT!
According to a report published by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, rumors going around are those internally within WWE feel that Triple H will lead the creation of the NXT 2.0 brand back into more of its predecessor. Hence, those familiar colors, black & gold!
Here is an exact quote; I’m paraphrasing a bit regarding a few words.
In NXT, the belief was that the product should revert somewhat to Levesque’s previous vision. The thought was that while they will continue to heavily recruit top-tier athletes, a process Levesque has been a key player in over the past year, they would be more open to using more experienced wrestling talent as well, and that going forward & the door would be more open to better wrestlers who weren’t as big or as good looking as McMahon wanted on the roster.
Also, reports conclude that Triple H’s focus remains on developing talent more than ever.
Wrestling purists are yearning for this era of professional wrestling to return. Triple H proved his immense value to WWE concerning their famous developmental program labeled NXT! He is someone who wrestlers admire. They can express themselves more freely because Triple H understands what makes a great pro-wrestler, not a sport-entertainer.
Triple H assembled a territorial system that worked. Guiding young & coming talent into future superstardom was common for the destined Hall of Famer! He foresaw his grassroots territory with NXT! The student soon taught these star prospects about what makes wrestling so cherished to audiences who’ve adored it.
NXT is responsible for contributing such stars as Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Natalya, & current WWE. Intercontinental Champion Gunther. Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair, Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor, & Damien Priest of Judgement Day. Smackdown Women’s Champion Liv Morgan. WWE Champion & Univeral Champion Roman Reigns & Seth Rollins were products of earlier stages of NXT! Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Current Money in the Bank winner Theory, & former Champion Drew McIntyre! It would make for a lengthy dialogue about all these talented individuals who became huge names correlating wrestling.
If Triple H takes over NXT & it relives its glory days. Then Tony Khan & AEW should be worried. Why do you ask? Cause those ex-NXT stars haven’t forgotten what that brand did for them & the wrestler’s trust, respect, and love for Triple H invested in their careers by helping each succeed. An open invitation leaves a door open after contracts expire. Possibly AEW talent exits for WWE NXT this time & not only ex-personnel such as Adam Cole, Keith Lee, Swerve Strickland, Kyle O’Reilly & Bobby Fish, but Ricky Starks, Powerhouse Hobbs, or a Wheeler Yuta. Talk about compelling stuff, “ never say never, “ remember all might occur.
Let’s anticipate this to happen, please. We miss the original NXT, no offense to NXT 2.0!
