During tonight’s opening segment of NXT, General Manager William Regal introduced Keith Lee where he shocked the wrestling world and announced that he is vacating the NXT North American Championship.

A video aired about Lee’s journey in NXT, Lee said he is known to be Limitless but he didn’t want to limit the other superstars for the pursuit of glory. Then, he announced that he is vacating the NXT North American title and give other NXT Stars a chance to get the gold.

William Regal announced that a new champion will be crowned by tournament starting tonight. A series of triple threat matches will start with the winners will get a spot in the Ladder Match for the title at NXT Takeover 30, where new champion will be crowned.
