WB’s Top 5 Headlines!

1. WWE Draft News

Xero News has reported breaking news regarding a backstage update to this year’s WWE Draft of 2023!!!!

Interpreting the quote from their insider: ” I’m- told today, Judgement Day is still heavily in consideration for a switch to SmackDown. Some want Imperium (Gunther with IC Title) to move to Raw, possibly with Theory as the U.S. Champion going to SmackDown. There’s no confirmation as to either currently. Roman Reigns, expected to stay on SmackDown with Solo Sikoa, The Usos, Paul Heyman, Kevin Owens, & Sami Zayn, discussed for Raw. The Monday night program could get LA Knight. They have talked about this. We are not sure if he’ll switch brands. Xero News does say everyone needs to be attentive because a Knight move on Raw appears plausible during the summer.

NXT call-ups are looking more & more likely to be less in loads. I expect under 8 in total & in all honesty, this correspondent mentioned. Cameron Grimes, Tyler Bate, llja Dragunov, and Pretty Deadly] could move up, & we’ll see. Multiple brand switches, some unexpected. Teams may face breakups, but not for these teams, ” The Bloodline, Imperium, & Gallows, Anderson, and Styles, Street Profits, New Day, and MMM all stay intact. Discussions continue & nothing seems locked in for most of the draft as of this writing. Just Reigns/Bloodline stay on SmackDown. (Xero News analyst), became informed that Rhodes vs. Reigns Two may be affected due to the draft. Rhodes to Friday Nights isn’t a done deal, Sounds like he remains on Raw. “

2. Cole & Baker vs. JAS & Saraya Rivalry

Audiences tuned in to volatile circumstances involving Chris Jericho and Adam Cole on Wednesday’s edition ( April 19th) of AEW Dynamite via TBS. He shared about idolizing Jericho during an in-ring promo. The viewers saw the leader of JAS express his displeasure at Cole. Jericho faced ridicule from the former NXT Champion in Pittsburgh. Then both men brawl and Daniel Garcia assist Jericho. Britt Baker came out to stand up for her man in her hometown. Y2J felt D.M.D’s wrath via a slap. Here comes The Outcasts ( Saraya, Ruby Soho, & Toni Storm) surprise-attack Baker. Garcia handcuffed Cole’s hand to the bottom rope while he & Jericho beat up Cole in front of Baker. Jericho hands a kendo stick to Saraya. She hits Britt repeatedly & Adam Cole is left to watch.

Their matches might happen at May’s Double or Nothing PPV in Las Vegas, Nevada- on May 28th, 2023.

3. List of wrestlers injured

Wrestlebuddy learned from a report by the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that dozens of WWE Superstars remain not medically cleared to compete. These Headliners are Bray Wyatt, Drew McIntyre, & AJ Styles.

Rephrasing, ” There is an unusually high amount of injuries and medical absences right now, mostly in developmental, where about a dozen people are out of action in the system. Among those out for various reasons currently would be Amari Miller, Arianna Grace, Nikkita Lyons, Roderick Strong, Sanga, Blair Davenport, Yulisa Leon, & several trainees. The significant main roster people out for mostly health reasons include Big E, Wyatt, Orton, Rousey, Kingston, Roode, Ciampa, Styles, Aliyah, McIntyre, Gargano, & Carmella.

4. Drew McIntyre’s return timeline

According to reports, Drew McIntyre could be returning sooner than later. The WWE is promoting its Sunday Stunner event inside the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana. He’s advertised for this event along with Liv Morgan, SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley & LA Knight would be his opponent.

McIntyre has been dealing with injuries. Many speculate on ” The Scottish Warrior’s WWE future after WrestleMania 39. Things escalated when he blacked out his Twitter profile and any WWE references. We’ve heard about the contract negotiations & maybe it’s Drew’s opportunity to turn villainous upon returning to WWE? McIntyre expressed interest before in previous interviews. The former Champion can tap into who he is and make it compelling. The Wrestling Observer also reported that McIntyre to miss in-ring action for at least the next few weeks. His contract has months to go with no change regarding the situation & neither side remains far apart on money.
