As noted earlier, WWE Champion Drew McIntyre will defend his title against Randy Orton at SummerSlam this year. Now, as per the reports WWE discussed plans that McIntyre could lose his WWE Championship to Randy Orton at SummerSlam.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Randy could win the title and continue his title run till Edge will return and face Orton at either Royal Rumble or Wrestlemania next year.
There have been rumors floating that Orton goes over and leads to a match with Edge, but that seems so counterproductive to take the title off McIntyre for Orton.
