Our colleagues at Xero News shared a news report from (WrestlingNews. co.) It contained details about FOX/NBC TV rights negotiations that have concluded, & Amazon Prime Video does expect to have talks with WWE.

Here’s what we know. WWE’s current media rights deals went into effect in the fall of 2019. Their program Raw remained on the USA Network (Monday nights, with SmackDown going to FOX (Friday evenings). Based on the news, their upcoming media rights agreements concerning both shows, Raw & SmackDown, will expire next year.

Andrew Marchand representing New York’s established news organization, declared today that WWE is out of its exclusive negotiations widow regarding NBCUniversal as they are the parent company of the USA Network & this includes renewing with Fox about media rights deals as well.

WWE is permitted to continue discussions with various networks.

Disney seems interested in obtaining WWE programming for FX rather than ESPN. The motivation entails ESPN cannot promise any weekly specifics when rotating games because of having dealings with NBA, NFL, MLB, & additional sports leagues.

So anticipate Amazon Prime Video to begin negotiating along with WWE. Such a move is plausible following their securing of the NFL deal for Thursday night games. Formerly, Amazon Prime Video placed bids for college football’s Big Ten conference!!!
