WWE Draft is one of the most interesting concepts in WWE which started back in 2001, when WWE bought WCW and they need to divide their jam packed roster in two different brands. Since then WWE Draft is one of the most anticipated things for WWE Universe. However, WWE holds a lackluster draft last year at the debut episode of Smackdown on FOX. Now, they’re planning to hold the draft before this year’s Survivor Series.

According to the reports of Fightful, WWE had made plans for draft several times but it got nixed due to COVID-19 pandemic. Earlier, they planned it for June then it got postponed to August then September. Now they’re planning to hold draft in October just like last year but date has not been fixed yet.

A draft was originally set for the end of August, before being moved to September. After it was set for September, it was moved to October, then back and forth again. The original source that we heard the story from in June had noted WWE had informed some broadcast partners of both Draft plans and live event plans, the latter of which was nixed completely.

If we believe the reports that WWE is planning to hold draft by October then it’ll be very interesting to see because on November there’ll be Survivor Series PPV which is based on Brand Supremacy.
