Rey Mysterio is currently under contract with WWE & recently he resigned a new deal with the company. His son Dominik & daughter Aalyah also appeared on WWE television. Dominik is now a full fledged WWE Superstar, as he wrestles matches almost every week. Aalyah Mysterio didn’t signed the contract as she’s still studying in college. Recently, Mysterio reveals his retirement plans from WWE.

Recently, while speaking with Chasing Glory, Rey Mysterio revealed that he is planning to retire from WWE after his 50th birthday. He is going to be 45 years old this coming December.

“I’ll be 45 in December. And I don’t see myself going past 50, that’s for sure. My body feels great right now. I’ve been doing new methods of therapy – STEM cells, hyperbaric chambers, cryo chambers, CBD’s, you know, a lot of things that benefit me. I think that has given me more longevity.”

Mysterio also cleared the air that he not going to leave WWE as he said, “you can’t go any higher than this.”. Currently he is under a three year contract with WWE. So, it’s quite clear that he will retire under WWE only. Many fans wanted to see Mysterio in AEW, but as of now it’s not looking possible.
