WWE Hall of Famer Sting debuts on AEW & send shockwaves to the pro wrestling world. His confrontation with Darby Allin is talk of the town as of now. But, fans were craving to see Undertaker & Sting in a dream match in WWE, and Sting also expressed his desire to come out of retirement to face the Deadman. Now, reports are suggesting that Sting pitched the idea of this match but WWE rejected the same.

According to the report of Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Sting was interested to face the Undertaker in a cinematic match, but for whatever reason Vince McMahon was not quite interested in this match. We have already seen an instant classic between AJ Styles & Undertaker in a Boneyard match at Wrestlemania 36. Cinematic matches kept both the legends safe and fans were also delighted to watch the dream match which they’re craving for decades. But, Vince McMahon nixed the idea.

Still it is known Sting wanted to do a Cinematic match with Undertaker, and for whatever reason, while fans have clamored for Undertaker vs. Sting for years, it has never been a match that appealed to McMahon. 

It’s still unclear that Sting will be a full time performer at AEW or he will be a part timer & works in cinematic matches. We have to wait and see for the same. But, it’s quite clear now, that we will never be able to see Sting Vs. The Undertaker in this life.
