Finn Balor successfully defended his NXT title against Kyle ‘O’ Reily in a hard hitting match at NXT New year’s Evil. Unfortunately, just like the previous match at NXT Takeover, they are possibly injured as they both are hospitalized after the match.

WWE posted an update regarding the health of both the superstars that they’ve been taken to medical facility after the grueling main event.

BREAKING: After that grueling main event, both @FinnBalor & @KORcombat are on their way to the hospital. Kyle is getting his jaw x-rayed and Finn is getting his arm checked out. #NXTNYE

After the match, it was visible that Balor was not raising his arm and it was the same arm which got injured at SummerSlam 2016 against a match with Seth Rollins & Kyle ‘O’ Reily was seen holding his jaw after the match. The last time the two met Balor was the one with a jaw injury. His was broken in two places which required surgery.

According to Fightful Select, Kyle O’Reilly was checked upon by NXT trainers and doctors during the commercials and right after the NXT Championship match.
