Matt Riddle has been called up to the main roster on Smackdown brand last year and he defeated AJ Styles clean in his debut match. But after that he just lost his momentum and just hanging between the mid carders from quite sometime.

WWE changed his name from Matt Riddle to Riddle then he got drafted to RAW. He was a part of the Team RAW at Survivor Series this past November and currently he is having a tag team with Jeff Hardy called ‘Hardy Bros’ and feuding with MVP and Bobby Lashley. This past week on RAW Lashley just squashed him in a US title match to retain his title.

Earlier reports revealed that Riddle already signed a multi year deal with the company. But according to Bryan Alvarez on Wrestling Observer Live, The original contract was for $400,000 a year and he might signed the contract but the deal isn’t set in stone.

“Remember when they offered him a new deal? I don’t think he’s signed yet. Just want to throw that out there.”

Now we have to wait and see when we get the confirmation of Riddle signing a new deal because as of now he might wait for long period of time to re-sign with the company as several other stars are also refuse to re-sign and waiting for sometime.
