Randy Orton and Edge rivalry was far from over last year. Unfortunately, Edge got injured and out for 9 months during the ongoing rivalry. Later, Edge cuts a promo on Orton that he will be back soon and continue their feud but plans got changed and now Orton is feuding with The Fiend which is just getting darker week after week.

According to Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Randy Orton and The Fiend was set to face each other in a Firefly Funhouse match at Royal Rumble, but plans got postponed and we might see this feud stretched to Wrestlemania 37.

Orton vs Fiend was on the card for Rumble in a Firefly Fun House match and now it doesn’t appear to be. If it’s held for Mania and there is certainly speculation now that’s the case, that takes Orton vs. Edge out

This makes Edge out of the picture from Orton Vs. Edge at Wrestlemania 37. Earlier it was reported that Edge will face Orton in an ‘I QUIT’ match at Wrestlemania to culminate their rivalry.

Now, WON noted that Edge is most likely to win the Royal Rumble and face either Drew McIntyre or Roman Reigns for the World Title. Roman Reigns vs Edge would give fans a spear vs spear match that they didn’t see coming. WWE Universe were expecting Goldberg vs Roman Reigns, but Edge would be a better choice for this dream match.
