Tony Khan begs WWE to invade AEW

AEW is giving a tough competition to WWE NXT and winning the ratings war almost every single week. We are witnessing a huge crossovers of many wrestling promotions like NJPW, IMPACT Wrestling and NWA with AEW. Now, the President of All elite Wrestling Tony Khan begs WWE to invade AEW so that we can finally witness the WWE Vs. AEW crossover.
During the Wrestling Fetish podcast, Khan was asked that if ‘The Forbidden Door’ is open for NXT or WWE. Khan answers the question by saying that ‘They’re more than welcome’.
While appearing on the WrestleFetish podcast, Tony Khan brought up WWE. He said that they are more than welcome to make a trip to Jacksonville and work something out. Vince McMahon’s company can always knock on that “Forbidden Door.”
“They are more than welcome. As I have said, the forbidden door is open anytime. Just come and knock. If they were to knock on the door, then I would certainly be willing to let them in.”
“I don’t think so. Eric [Bischoff] wanted them [WWE] to come inside, so I’m willing to do the same. Come in, please. I would love that. Come to Jacksonville, I’m begging you.”
Just few days ago, Cody Rhodes also teases the WWE Vs. AEW Crossover while giving the reference of Vince McMahon Sr. It’s almost impossible to think that Vince McMahon will accept this proposal of invading AEW. But you never say never in pro wrestling industry. Few months ago, Triple H discussed about working with other companies. So, there’s a hope that we can see our dream matches like Omega Vs. Reigns or Darby Allin Vs. The Fiend or Demon Balor.
