WWE NXT debuts on USA Network in 2019 and went head to head with AEW Dynamite on Wednesday nights. Unfortunately, AEW kept beating WWE NXT on the overall ratings along with the demographics. Now, reports are suggesting that NXT is set to move on Tuesday nights very soon.

According to F4WOnline, Dave Meltzer confirmed that NXT is moving on Tuesday nights. It was noted that it’s wasn’t 100% confirmed as a done deal, but it has been “heavily talked about” over the past week.

The Mat Men podcast was the first to report the story with our Dave Meltzer confirming. Meltzer couldn’t confirm whether it’s a done deal, but that if not, they are very close, adding it’s been heavily talked about over the last seven days. 

WWE NXT will move to Tuesdays and that’s for sure as NBC Sports Network shutting down so they need to find a new day. The NHL is very likely moving their Wednesdays double headers to the USA Network. NXT will most likely move on Tuesdays after the week following WrestleMania.

Apparently, the Wednesday Night Wars are set to get over with the NXT moving on Tuesdays, means no NXT Vs. AEW ratings war. But, this will hurt the viewership on IMPACT Wrestling as IMPACT is on the Tuesday Nights.
