Adam Cole’s contract is set to expire during SummerSlam weekend and still he didn’t re-sign with the company. Rumors were floating that Cole had received a million dollar contract by WWE which is ten times higher that his current NXT contract. Now, reports are suggesting the backstage plans for Cole if he debuts on the main roster.

According to Steve Carrier from Ringside News, the current plan for Cole on the main roster is not something huge. There’s no huge push for Cole after his debut on the main roster. It was further noted that ‘fans shouldn’t keep their hopes up’ for Cole’s debut on the main roster.

Some of the reports were suggesting that Cole has been received an offer from Tony Khan as well. But, Khan denied all the rumors and he denied any contract offer to Cole.

Currently, Cole is set to face his former best friend Kyle ‘O’ Reily in a match at NXT Takeover 36. Now, we just have to wait and see what will happen next in this situation. WB will keep you posted about this story. Stay Tuned.
