Cody got a new challenger at this week episode of AEW Dynamite.

After he successfully defended the title against Marq Quen from ‘Private Party’

After the match, Jake Hager attacked Cody and then Matt Hardy and Isiah Kassidy comes for the aid of Cody, immediately after Jake Hager stablemates from ‘Inner Circle’ comes and a big brawl broke out.

After the Inner Circle ran away, Cody got the microphone and grants a title shot for Hager at AEW Fyter Fest 2020 which will be held for two nights July 1st & July 8th Cody is currently booked to defend the belt against an unnamed opponent on next week’s AEW Dynamite.

AEW TNT Title: Cody (c) vs. Jake Hager

AEW World Tag Team Titles: Hangman Page & Kenny Omega (c) vs. Best Friends
