AEW Full Gear 2022 PPV Full Results – Nov 19, 2022
Zero Hour Show:
The Factory Vs. Best Friends, Rocky Romero & Danhausen
Beretta starts the bout with Solo and gains the upper hand. Beretta and Romero continue to control the action, and they triple-team Johnson and Marshall. The Factory takes control, and they mock Best Friends’ signature hug. Comoroto overpowers Beretta and sends him to the outside with a nasty Irish whip. Beretta rallies and tags Cassidy, who draws from the power of his pants pockets and kicks Comoroto.
OC drops Solo and Johnson with a double hurricanrana. Cassidy slams Marshall’s head into the turnbuckle and hits a diving crossbody. The Factory regains the advantage and overwhelms Cassidy. Beretta and Taylor fight back, and Romero takes Comoroto down. Johnson drops Romero with a Blue Thunder Bomb. Cassidy plants Johnson with a tornado DDT.
He tags in and takes the fight to Marshall. He drops Karter with a suplex and dishes one out to Johnson. Cassidy drills Comoroto with an Orange Punch, and Danhausen gives him a mouthful of teeth. He then kicks Comoroto and pins him.

Brian Cage Vs. Ricky Starks: AEW World Title Eliminator Tournament Semifinal Match
The Machine attacks Starks. Both fight to begin. Cage looked dominant by focusing on the Starks’ injured ribs after Lance Archer faced “Absolute” on Friday’s Rampage. Brian Cage sent Ricky into the turnbuckle. Cage executed a backbreaker. Starks fought back. The quick movement kept Cage off-balance. Another backbreaker from Cage. DDT by Ricky with assistance from the top rope. The Machine lands a Thrust kick & Starks speared his opponent. A Buckle bomb & lariat into the near fall. Cage missed the elbow drop. Canadian destroyer into his finisher.
Winner: Ricky Starks
Eddie Kingston Vs. Jun Akiyama
The fans love Eddie. Kingston was influenced as a kid from Yonkers, New York by watching wrestlers like Akiyama. They lock up & Akiyama applied the headlock. Each traded holds. Kingston lit up Jun with chops. Akiyama defended by using his forearms. The New Yorker sent this Japanese innovator onto the floor. Akiyama executes the DDT & knee on the apron onto Kingston. Eddie bites Jun, he followed that up with a superplex. Eddie gave fans a machine gun chop fest. Both men exchange variations of suplexes. Kingston connected with a back fist. Akiyama hit a suplex & knee but did not end the match. The Northern lights bomb couldn’t keep Jun down. Kingston wins via a backfist.
Winner: Eddie Kingston.
MAIN CARD:
Jungle Boy Vs. Luchasaurus – Steel Cage Match
JB got busted open at the very beginning of the match and Luchasaurus completely dominates JB and throws him onto the cage left, right, and center. JB tries to fight back with an armbar on Luchasauraus but got countered with a chokeslam off the top rope followed by a reverse death valley driver for the two count.
Christian steals the cage keys from the ref at ringside and opens the cage door. Ref calls for security to take Christian but Luchasaurus comes out of the cage and attacks the security guys. JB takes advantage of the situation and hits LS with a suicide dive but LS again catapults him onto the cage. LS takes weapons inside the cage and JB tries to fight back with shotgun dropkicks followed by a destroyer for two counts.
JB hits LS with a chair followed by an Unprettier onto the chair but LS kicks out at two again. LS hits a chokeslam on JB onto the chair for another two counts. Both men go back and forth with JB getting the upper hand as he performed a Piledriver on LS for two counts. JB puts LS on sleeper hold and puts him on the table followed by a chair shot to the head. JB climbs at the top of the cage and hits an elbow drop on LS followed with a STF and LS taps out.
Winner: ‘Jungle Boy’ Jack Perry

Death Triangle (c) Vs. The Elite: AEW Trios Tag Team Championships.
Omega and PAC start off the match and trade some fast-paced offense. Fenix and Jackson exchange counters and kicks. The Bucks superkick Fenix, as The Elite gain the upper hand. The Bucks dive onto PAC on the outside. Omega goes to slam Penta, but PAC kicks his knee. He grounds Omega, as Death Triangle takes control. Omega tags Matt Jackson, who suplexes his opponents. The Lucha Brothers double-team Matt. Death Triangle continues to isolate Matt, but he slams Fenix to the mat. Nick tags in and clears house with a flurry of offense. He drops PAC with a bulldog. Nick takes the Lucha Brothers down and tags Omega. He drills PAC with a kick. Omega dumps PAC with a snap dragon suplex. Matt spikes Fenix with a DDT on the apron.
goes for the V-trigger, but PAC counters with a release German suplex. He kicks Omega, and Death Triangle hit triple Tombstones. PAC hits the Black Arrow and locks in the Brutalizer on Omega, but the hold gets broken up. The Lucha Brothers dive onto the Bucks at ringside. Fenix tags in and rocks Omega with a stomp to the abdomen. PAC tosses Fenix a bell hammer, and Fenix refuses to use it. Omega hits the V-trigger the Tiger Driver 98 for a two count. Penta dishes out Slingblades, but The Elite take him down with triple superkicks. They hit the BTE Trigger for a near fall. Nick stops PAC from using the bell hammer on Omega. Matt dives onto PAC and Penta at ringside. Fenix finally takes the hammer from PAC and hits Omega with it during a One-Winged Angel attempt for the win.
Winner: Death Triangle

Jade Cargill (c) Vs. Nyla Rose: TBS Championship
Rose takes a cheap shot at Hogan at ringside. Cargill gains an early advantage and sends Rose spilling to the floor. She hits a pump kick that sends Rose into the crowd. Rose takes control as the match returns to the ring, and she gets a two count with a splash. Cargill catches Rose with a boot to the face. Rose counters a dive from Cargill and plants her with a neckbreaker.
Rose hits a diving knee-drop while Cargill is hung up on the ropes. Cargill hits a Beast Bomb for a two count. Rose counters Jaded and hits Cargill with her own finisher for a two count. Cargill hits another pump kick and gets the win with Jaded.

Chris Jericho (c) Vs. Sammy Guevara Vs. Bryan Danielson Vs. Claudio Castagnoli: ROH World Championship
Tony Khan is attempting to resurrect the Ring of Honor brand. Claudio & Danielson are ROH legends. Chris Jericho continues his reinventive progression by possessing the ROH Championship. Sammy Guevara desires to prove why amidst controversy that he belongs. The battle was action-packed. The American Dragon & Castagnoli double-teamed both members of “ The Jericho Appreciation Society! “ Danielson remains one of wrestling’s great purists. Claudio faced off against Bryan.
These Blackpool Contact members exchanged European uppercuts while Danielson put an armbar on Castagnoli. Each showed battle scars. Jericho and The Spanish God are full of themselves. We saw Sammy compliment Jericho by helping him suplex Danielson. The Champ got Danielson & hit a Death Valley driver. He called Guevara so Jericho might win. Sammy fought Chris, and eventually, this was bound to happen. Guevarra landed his signature codebreaker on Chris.
Fans observed Claudio, Sammy, Danielson, & Jericho give their best during this match. A GTS & Shooting Star Press on Jericho almost won the Championship for Guevara. Teammates wrestled opposite each other. Claudio imposed his power & ask Sammy. Leaping Judas effect takes out Sammy & Claudio. He pins Castagnoli. Chris Jericho retains!

Saraya Vs. Dr. Britt Baker, D.M.D.
Baker controls the action early on and dominates the opening minutes. She targets Saraya’s neck repeatedly and even tries to strangle her. Saraya slams Baker onto the apron and hits a diving crossbody off the apron. Baker and Saraya trade blows. Saraya gains the upper hand and stomps Baker in the corner. She slams Baker and gets a two count. Baker goes for the Lockjaw, but Saraya reaches the ropes.
Baker gets a two count with an Air Raid Crash. She stomps Saraya for another two count. Saraya hits a sunset flip powerbomb for a two count and the Rampaige for a two count. Baker takes Saraya down and goes for the Lockjaw, but Saraya turns it into pin attempt for a two count. She kicks Baker and drills her with a knee to the head. Saraya hits another knee strike and another Rampaige. She hits it yet again for the win.
Winner: Saraya

Wardlow (c) Vs. Powerhouse Hobbs Vs. Samoa Joe: AEW TNT Championship
The three powerhouses start waging war right away as the action spills out of the ring. Hobbs suplexes Wardlow in the ring. Joe hits Hobbs, but the former Team Taz member drills him with an elbow. Hobbs dumps Joe with a suplex and controls the match early on. Wardlow dives off the top rope and takes both of his opponents down. He hits Hobbs with a Swanton Bomb.
Joe rocks Hobbs with a running boot in the corner. Wardlow slams Hobbs and drops Joe with a spinebuster. Joe dives onto both of his opponents on the outside. Hobbs tackles Joe into the barricade. He gets a two count with a spinebuster on Wardlow. The champion powerbombs Hobbs multiple times. Joe sneaks in and hits Wardlow with the title. He then chokes out Hobbs for the win.
Winner & NEW AEW TNT Champion: Samoa Joe.

Sting & Darby Allin Vs. Jeff Jarrett & Jay Lethal: No DQ Street Fight
Darby Allin has made his career taking daredevil-type risks. He’s a former TNT Champion. Jay Lethal represented contemporary professional wrestling by holding the ROH Championship. Both Darby & Jay chose to align with Hall of Famers. Sting and Jeff Jarrett’s history goes way back to WCW & TNA. Each legend was a Champion concerning those notable brands. It’s become personal again between these two teams. Jarrett entered & brought his Sting army reminiscent of the Nitro days.
Lethal led the Sting Squad up to attack the body bag only for Darby to trap them by assaulting everyone with his skateboard & Sting surprised The Last Outlaw from behind. Satnam Singh caught Darby after a failed coffin drop from the ladder at 25 ft in the air. The giant wrestler launched Allin onto the entranceway. Sting leaped from a balcony & wiped out Lethal & Singh.
Sting applied his famous Scorpion Death Lock on Double J until Sonjay Dutt & Singh interfered. Satnam chokeslammed Sting onto the mat. Jarrett cracked Darby’s back via the guitar countering his coffin drop maneuver. Lethal Injection into a Scorpion Death Lock followed by a Coffin Drop & Lethal is pinned.

Toni Storm (c) Vs. Jamie Hayter: AEW Women’s Championship
bitter rivals. Hayter kicks Storm’s midsection. The Champion drop-kicks her challenger. Toni uses that hip attack by knocking Jaime off of the ring apron. Both ladies trade fists & Storm executes the Thez press similar to Stone Cold Steve Austin’s years prior. More striking continues, Hayter and Storm go down after Toni headbutts her into a near fall. Rebel nailed Storm with the belt-taking advantage of the referee’s attention being diverted.
Hayter then gave Toni a vicious shoulder breaker & clotheslines the Champ. Storm was able to lift her shoulder after nearly 3. Toni landed a clothesline on Hayter and Jaime survived. Dr. Britt Baker curb-stomped Toni’s face into the title & rolled her back inside the ring. Hayter piledrives Toni Storm. Baker takes the turnbuckle pad off. Jaime runs into Britt knocking her down & Storm into the turnbuckle. New AEW Interim Women’s Champion Jaime Hayter courtesy of the Hayterade.

AEW Tag Team Championship The Acclaimed vs Swerve & Our Glory Swerve Strickland sends Max Castor into the barricade & this fight goes on through the crowd. Castor rebounds and delivers a leg drop from the top turnbuckle on Keith Lee & slams Swerve. Strickland kicked out at 2. Max utilized a cross-body to Lee through the guard railing on the outside floor. Anthony Bowens somehow kicks out of Swerve’s brutal step-up kick. Strickland can’t believe it. Keith Lee showcased his raw power.
The ‘Limitless One’ threw Castor across the ring & pounced on Bowens for good measure. Max goes through a table. Swerve has pliers. Strickland encourages Lee to use these pliers so they can stop the Acclaimed from doing their scissoring gesture. Keith wants no part of it. Swerve slaps the big man. Lee helps Bowens & walks out leaving Strickland. Swerve takes the assisted Michinoku Driver. The Acclaimed retain!!!

Jon Moxley (c) Vs. MJF: AEW World Championship
Moxley hits MJF in the face, and the challenger slams him. “The Purveyor of Violence” grinds MJF’s face on the ropes and bites him. MJF fights back and mocks Moxley with a strut. He sends Moxley to the outside and runs the ropes as he plays to the crowd. Moxley pushes MJF into the corner and bites him. MJF stomps Mox in the corner, but the champion levels him with a clothesline. He drills MJF with some forearms to the face. Moxley locks in an arm-bar, but MJF escapes. The champion continues to maintain the advantage. MJF spits something into Moxley’s face. Moxley slams him into the steel steps. The match returns to the ring, and both men are down after a clothesline. MJF hits Moxley with a series of strikes.
MJF slams Moxley’s head into the turnbuckle. He sets up a table at ringside, but Moxley drops him when a cutter when he gets back into the ring. Moxley stomps MJF. The challenger hits a piledriver on the apron. Moxley drops MJF with a piledriver through a table. MJF barely avoids getting counted out, and Moxley drops him with a Paradigm Shift for a two count. MJF traps Moxley in a Figure-Four, but Moxley reverses the pressure and escapes. MJF gets a two count with a Heatseeker. Moxley drops MJF with a chop block and targets his leg. MJF crotches Moxley on the ropes, but Moxley hits an avalanche Paradigm Shift. MJF reaches the ropes to break up the pin. Moxley and MJF trade blows.
MJF pulls the referee into Moxley’s path when the champion ran at him. MJF gets the Dynamite Diamond Ring and thinks about using it. Regal tells him to put it down, and MJF does. Moxley sneaks up behind MJF and goes for a choke, but MJF counters it into a pin attempt. Moxley kicks out and goes for the choke again, but the replacement referee gets bumped. MJF taps, and the referee doesn’t see it. Regal slides his brass knuckles to MJF, who blasts Moxley with them. MJF then pinned Moxley to win the match and the title.
