WWE releases several superstars & employees on April 15th, 2020 due to cost cutting during pandemic. AEW Star Jake Hager (aka Jack Swagger) slammed WWE & Stephanie McMahon on their recent tweet.

Stephanie McMahon tweeted about how WWE did hard work and become ‘2020 Corporation of the year’ at the PR News CSR & Nonprofit Awards.

This tweet doesn’t go down well with AEW Star Jake Hager. He quickly fired back on this tweet & accused the company about lying about quarterly profits, so they can fire 300 people.

Lmao. I guess lying about over 37 million in quarterly profits , so you can fire over 300 people, during a worldwide pandemic is a category for an award?

When WWE did the mass firings, they got slammed by the WWE Universe and several other ex-members of WWE, because the other wrestling promotions didn’t fire anybody during pandemic. But, WWE did lots of cost cutting.
