1. Forever Connected?
When you talk about wrestlers who find that connection with a wrestler and then that connection will last
forever, Sami Callihan and Eddie Edwards certainly have that. They have had some amazing feuds through the years which have always culminated to 5 star matches, plus both men through the tenure of their time together in the company have really driven each other to new levels when it comes to developing their characters too.
There’s been talk about Sami and Eddie being the Raven and Dreamer of the current day and the way that
both men are heading it really feels as if we could be seeing the next step of this “rivalry” in where they
become a team. As both men have said, they don’t have to like each other but they can still work together
and still be dangerous together.
When you have long term story telling this is a very interesting way to place these two together,
especially with the Good Brothers currently holding the Tag Titles and being shall we say tweeners (on
screen) between Impact and AEW as they are in The Elite. Both men are two of the most loved on the
roster and if put them together, they good easily be the most over team on the roster which Impact may
also feel now fans are back.
