According to the reports by Wrestlevotes, plans for this year SummerSlam has been ‘torn up’ this past week.

WWE planned a third match between Edge and Randy Orton, but card was forced to change because Edge tore his triceps at Backlash while having the match with Orton and he’s been out for at least 6-7 months.

Brock Lesnar has also not been seen since his lost to Drew McIntyre for the Universal title at WM36. This year’s SS will take place in the WWE PC only and there’ll be no crowd means WWE is not very keen to bring back Lesnar for SummerSlam.

Rumored matches as of now for the biggest party of the summer are ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt Vs Braun Strowman for the Universal Championship, AJ Styles Vs Matt Riddle for the US Championship and The Street Profits Vs Andrade & Angel Garza for the RAW Tag Team Championship. None of these matches have been confirmed yet.

SummerSlam is scheduled to take place in WWE PC on 23rd August 2020.

Stay tuned for more updates.
