Bobby Lashley, a distinguished name in the wrestling industry, might be bidding farewell to WWE. Known for his powerhouse performances and championship reigns, Lashley has been a significant part of WWE for years. However, recent developments have sparked speculation about his future with the company.
Lashley has been sidelined with an injury for quite some time, and it appears that his absence may be more prolonged. According to a joint report by Fightful and PWN, Lashley, along with Tamina and MVP, has been removed from the internal WWE roster. These removals are stirring conversations about potential departures.
PWN’s detailed report from their Discord paywall sheds more light on the situation:
“A former World Champion could be leaving WWE soon.
Fightful’s Sean Ross Sapp has learned that former world champion Bobby Lashley’s WWE contract is up within the next month or so, possibly over the course of weeks. PWN learned that Lashley was removed from the internal roster page, though he is still featured on the company’s website, and Fightful was also able to confirm that news.
Lashley has been out of action for a number of months, and sources have told us that he plans on continuing wrestling if for some reason an extension is not reached with WWE. Lashley has not been factored into WWE creative plans since the spring. He’s wrestled five televised matches this year, and won at WrestleMania in April.
This also includes MVP and Tamina Snuka, whom both were recently removed, but there is no more updates on them currently.”
Adding to the intrigue, a new report by Dave Meltzer via Wrestling Observer Radio indicates that WWE is under the assumption that Bobby Lashley and MVP are gone once their contracts expire. This assumption has led to speculations about a potential revamp of The Hurt Business in another wrestling promotion.
Shelton Benjamin, currently a free agent, might join Lashley and MVP should they leave WWE and together they could revamp The Hurt Business in AEW.

Lashley’s WWE contract is set to expire on August 10, and as of now, there are no confirmed plans for an extension. His removal from the internal roster has led to further speculation about his potential departure. Despite being absent from WWE’s creative plans since the spring, Lashley’s impact and legacy in the wrestling world are undeniable.
Fans and critics alike are eagerly awaiting more updates, and the future of Bobby Lashley in WWE remains uncertain. Whether he negotiates a new deal or explores opportunities elsewhere, the wrestling community will undoubtedly continue to watch Lashley’s journey closely.
