Few minutes left to start the first ever PPV of the year and a very unfortunate news broke out that Roman Reigns has been tested +ive for COVID-19 and he’s being pulled from the event. That left the main event spot empty, but WWE puts Lesnar in the Fatal-4-Way match for the WWE Title and now it’ll be a Fatal-5-Way.

According to Ariel Helwani, Roman Reigns will not be at the Day 1 pay-per-view now. He was pulled off the show due to WWE’s COVID-19 protocols. Now Brock Lesnar will be added to the WWE Title match.

Reigns is the WWE universal champion. He is vaccinated, sources say. Brock Lesnar, his scheduled opponent for tonight’s card, will now compete for the WWE championship in what has turned into a fatal five way with champ Big E, Kevin Owens, Seth Rollins and Bobby Lashley.

Reigns responded that he’s unable to compete as he’s been tested +ive and he will return sooner than later.

I yearn to perform tonight at #WWEDay1 to defend my Universal Championship. However, unfortunately, earlier today I tested positive for COVID-19. Due to the proper protocols I am unable to compete as originally scheduled. I look forward to returning to action as soon as possible.

This is a very interesting situation, we just need to wait and watch what WWE will decide to do in the show, and finally we’re set to see Lashley and Lesnar in the ring so be happy guys!!
