Director Christopher Nolan has confirmed that Avengers star Aaron Taylor-Johnson is in the movie.

In an interview given to Entertainment Weekly, Nolan revealed that the Avengers star is an “important part of the film” and that he can be seen in its second teaser.

“There are no photographs of him, this is true,” Nolan explained, referencing the Tenet’s officially released stills and on-set snaps.

Nolan said “He is briefly glimpsed in the [second] trailer. He’s also completely unrecognizable. There are all kinds of things that happen in terms of where the story goes as the film develops and where it winds up in the later stages that we don’t want to spoil for people.”

Still the film’s exact plot has been completely hidden in mystery, Nolan fans have spent the last few months theorizing on what the story is all about. After he mentioned that the movie would have a “time-bending” element to it, many deduced that it could be a sequel to his mind bending thriller Inception.

Tenet is set to arrive in cinemas on 31st July 2020.
