Warner Bros. once again delayed the release of much awaited action thriller ‘Tenet’. It’s the second time that this movie got delayed due to coronavirus pandemic.

Tenet was originally set to release on 17th July 2020 but few weeks back Warner Bros. announced that movie will release on 31st July 2020 due to the ongoing situation of coronavirus.

Now once again it’s release date has been shifted to 12th August 2020. Warner Bros. spokesperson said in a statement, “In this moment what we need to be is flexible, and we are not treating this as a traditional movie release. We are choosing to open the movie mid-week to allow audiences to discover the film in their own time, and we plan to play longer, over an extended play period far beyond the norm, to develop a very different yet successful release strategy.”

This latest shift of release date comes because New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that movie theaters in his state would not be included in Phase 4 of reopening.

‘Tenet’ stars Robert Pattinson and John David Washington who follows an operative tasked with preventing the next world war.
